Japanese Street Fashion - Part 1

Hello there!

When you say Japanese fashion, most think at kimonos, silk, samurai costumes or gheisha make-up, well lets gather all of those things, plus an european twist and some manga, and what you get is Japanese street fashion.
I've gathered some representatives looks for the Japanese street fashion, a part you'll see today, and others in future posts, from different sites to show you a new side of fashion, a very courageous one, fun and sometimes a bit weird. Young Japanese people got elements from kimonos, punk and classic looks and combined them into a new style, their own. You'll see that they like more of a grunge punkish style or very urban looks, they like to reinterpret the traditional kimono, leather, lace and many layers.
